The introduction of two pentafluorophenyl groups into anthracene through direct C−H arylation is demonstrated. This facile method enabled the synthesis of various bis(pentafluorophenyl)anthracene derivatives with different substitution positions in a single step. Among them, 2,6-bis(pentafluorophenyl)anthracene (2,6-DPA−F) serves as an n-type semiconductor in OFETs, exhibiting an electron mobility
