In an antioxidant system for crosslinked polyolefin compositions consisting of a first antioxidant such as a phenolic or amine antioxidant and a second antioxidant containing a thiodialkanoate portion,the use of athiodialkanoate polyester antioxidant which inteferes less with crosslinking than the commonly-used thiodialkanoate ester antioxidants while producing comparable or improved antioxidant protection. Suitable thiodialkanoate polyesters have the formula

This invention relates to a plasticiser composition suitable for use in rubber formulations. The plasticiser comprises a trimellitate ester, an aliphatic linear dicarboxylate, a dialkylthiodicarboxylate and an antioxidant. The plasticiser compositions of this invention perform well at both low and high temperatures without adversely affecting the other desirable characteristics of the rubber or elastomer being plasticised.
A curable resin composition comprising
(A) 100 parts by weight of an elastomeric organic polymer of a saturated hydrocarbon having at least one silicon-containing group cross-linkable by the formation of a siloxane bond at the molecular ends, and
(B) 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of a sulfur-containing antioxidant. The curable resin composition produces a cured product having excellent heat resistance.
