Synthesis and Photophysical Studies of Dibenzophosphole Oxides with D-A-D Triad Structures

Five dibenzophosphole oxides, containing two diarylamine or carbazole moieties at their 2,8‐positions, were synthesized. Studies of these substances show that they have quinoid‐like structures, and optical and electrochemical properties that depend on the nature of the donor substituents.
