In this study, novel maleimide monomers, N-sulfamethoxazole maleimide(SMM), and N-sulfanilamide maleimide(SAM) were synthesized. Homopolymers of SMM and SAM were obtained by free radical polymerization method in 1,4-dioxane solvent at 65°C.
