A metal‐free cascade reaction of tertiary amines with sulfonylazides promoted by acridinium salts under blue light irradiation was developed and provided amidine derivatives in moderate to good yields. Enamine was generated from tertiary amine via single‐electron transfer promoted by acridinium salts, and the following [3+2] cyclization with sulfonylazide and CH2N2 release afforded the desired products

Unusual annulation reaction of electron-deficient alkenes with enamines: an easy access to stereocontrolled 4-fluoroalkylated 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrans
The reaction of β-fluoroalkylated α,β-unsaturated ketones with various enamines gave 4-fluoroalkylated 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrans as a major product in good yields by a one-pot operation, and these products display the high diastereoselection just after single recrystallization.
