describes a synthesis of symmetric and dissymmetric bis[(perfluoroalkane)-sulfonyl]imides by the reaction of the sodium salt of perfluoroalkanesulfonamide RFSO2NH−Na+ (RF = C4F9, C6F13, C8F17) with hexamethyldisilazane and perfluoroalkanesulfonylfluoride RFSO2F (RF = C4F9, C6F13, C8F17).
