  A practical sliver-catalyzed fluoroalkylation of aryl-, heteroaryl- and allcylthiols has been developed. The reaction has a good functional-group tolerance and excellent selectivity. A variety of stable and solid fluoroalkanesulfinates including di- and perfluoroalkanesulfinates can be employed.
