Photocatalytic Radical Trifluoromethylation/Cyclization Cascade: Synthesis of CF3-Containing Pyrazolines and Isoxazolines
摘要:
A general visible light induced photoredox-catalyzed radical trifluoromethylation/cyclization cascade of beta-aryl-beta,gamma-unsaturated hydrazones and mimes is described. The protocol enables an efficient access to various densely functionalized and biologically important CF3-containing dihydropyrazoles and isoxazolines with generally high yields.

Reactive organosulfenyl chlorides (ArSCl) or selenenyl chlorides (ArSeCl), generated in situ from the reaction of PhICl2 with diorganyl disulfides or diselenides, enable the intramolecular oxidative cyclization/chalcogenylation of β,γ-unsaturated oximes, leading to the formation of a series of chalcogenylated isooxazolines in good to excellent yield.
