    A method of producing a metal phthalocyanine compound, which contains: conducting a reaction between at least two compounds selected from among Compounds A to F of formula (I), and a metal compound, in a buffer solution of an organic base or an inorganic base and an acid, in the presence of a dehydrating agent: wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a substituent; l is an integer of 0 to 4; a plurality of Rs may be the same or different from each other when l is 2 to 4; and G is a group of atoms necessary for forming at least one of a 5- or 6-membered aromatic ring and a 5- or 6-membered hetero ring.

    A toner includes a polyester resin including a polyester resin component A (A) insoluble in tetrahydrofuran; and a polyester resin component B (B) soluble in tetrahydrofuran. The toner has a first glass transition temperature (Tg1st) of from 20° C. to 50° C., measured at a first temperature rising in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and satisfies the following formulae (1) and (2): T =1/ a /( TgA +273)+ b /( TgB +273)}−273  (1) T−TgAB >30× a (2) wherein a and b represent weight ratios of (A) and (B) to a total weight of (A) and (B), and satisfy the equation a+b=1; and TgA, TgB and TgAB represent second glass transition temperatures (Tg2nd), measured at a second temperature rising in differential scanning calorimetry, of (A), (B), and a mixture of (A) and (B), respectively.

    Disclosed herein is an oil-based solid cosmetic composition comprising the following components (A) and (B): (A) 0.1-10 wt.% of a fluoroalkyl (meth)acrylate copolymer represented by the following general formula (1): wherein R1 and R2 are independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R3 is a hydrocarbon group having 1-32 carbon atoms, Rf is a group obtained by substituting part or the whole of hydrogen atoms of a hydrocarbon group having 1-32 carbon atoms with the corresponding number of fluorine atoms, and n and m are independently a number of 2-2,000 on the average; and (B) 2.9-50 wt.% of a solid oily substance having a melting point of 60-120°C. The cosmetic composition is good in shape retention and a feeling upon use, has excellent gloss upon its application and can retain the good gloss and color after the application over a long period of time. It may be used as a lipstick or eyebrow composition.

    A composition for peelable coating, which composition exhibits excellent properties such as film-formability and water resistance and can be dried at ambient temperature without any particular heating, to thereby provide excellent coating performance. The composition contains a core/shell copolymer including an acrylic copolymer portion A having a high glass transition temperature of 30°C-70°C and an acrylic copolymer portion B having a low glass transition temperature of 5°C to -30°C and being formed through multi-step polymerization. The core/shell copolymer is made up of 5-40 wt.% of the acrylic copolymer portion A and 60-95 wt.% of the acrylic copolymer portion B, on the basis of the total amount of the portion A and the portion B. The acrylic copolymer portion A and the acrylic copolymer portion B contain the same hard-polymer-providing monomer unit and soft-polymer-providing monomer unit. Each copolymer portion contains a hard-polymer-providing monomer unit and a soft-polymer-providing monomer unit in a total amount of 70 wt.% or more.
