Abstract Nitroguanidine derivatives have increasingly gained attention because of their high insecticidal activities and wide spectrum. In this paper, nitroguanidine derivative 1,5-dimethyl-2-nitroimino-1, 3, 5-triazinane was synthesized, and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray technique.
