    已经实现了苯乙烯与肟酯和 CO 2的光氧化还原催化双碳官能化。值得注意的是,一系列四元、五元或六元环酮肟可以很好地以良好的产率提供各种 ε-、ζ- 和 η-氰基羧酸。此外,以无环酮肟酯为羰基自由基前驱体,还可以得到一系列γ-酮酸。它提供了对多种生物学上重要的氰基羧酸和 γ-酮酸的聚合访问。

    A polyester copolymer, having a number average molecular weight of equal to or more than 4000 grams/mole and having a glass transition temperature of less than 160° C., containing: (a) in the range from equal to or more than 45 mole % to equal to or less than 50 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more bicyclic diol monomer units, wherein such one or more bicyclic diol monomer units is/are derived from one or more bicyclic diols chosen from the group consisting of isosorbide, isoidide, isomannide, 2,3:4,5-di-O-methylene-galactitol and 2,4:3,5-di-O-methylene-D-mannitol; (b) in the range from equal to or more than 25 mole % to equal to or less than 49.9 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of an oxalate monomer unit; (c) in the range from equal to or more than 0.1 mole % to equal to or less than 25 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more linear C3-C12 dicarboxylate monomer units; and (d) optionally equal to or more than 0 mole % to equal to or less than 5 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more additional monomer units. A process for producing such a polyester copolymer, a composition containing such polyester copolymer, a method for manufacturing an article comprising the use of one or more of such polyester copolymers and an article obtained or obtainable by such a method.

    A polyester copolymer, having a number average molecular weight of equal to or more than 4000 grams/mole and having a glass transition temperature of less than 160°C, containing: (a) in the range from equal to or more than 45 mole % to equal to or less than 50 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more bicyclic diol monomer units, wherein such one or more bicyclic diol monomer units is/are derived from one or more bicyclic diols chosen from the group consisting of isosorbide, isoidide, isomannide, 2,3:4,5-di-O-methylene-galactitol and 2,4:3,5-di-O-methylene-D- mannitol; (b) in the range from equal to or more than 25 mole % to equal to or less than 49.9 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of an oxalate monomer unit; (c) in the range from equal to or more than 0.1 mole % to equal to or less than 25 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more linear C3-C12 dicarboxylate monomer units; and (d) optionally equal to or more than 0 mole % to equal to or less than 5 mole %, based on the total amount of moles of monomer units within the polyester copolymer, of one or more additional monomer units.
