  (EN) The present invention relates to novel haloethyl-2-[ (2,6-dichlorophenyl) amino] phenylacetoxyacetate derivatives expressed in formula (4) and their use as an intermediate to synthesize aceclofenac and more particularly, to haloethyl-2-[(2,6-dichlorophenyl)amino]phenylacetoxyacetate derivatives that have potent non-steroid anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties and can be used as an intermediate to produce aceclofenac, prepared by reacting this novel compound (4) with a catalyst, Zn, and acid hydrolysis that within short reaction time provides high yield and high purity aceclofenac. In said formula (4), R1, R2 and R3 are same or different, respectively, representing hydrogen or halogen atoms, except that all R1, R2 and R3 represent hydrogen atom at the same time.(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à des dérivés d'haloéthyl-2-[ (2,6-dichlorophényl) amino] phénylacétoxy-acétate représentés par la formule (4), ainsi qu'à leur utilisation en tant qu'intermédiaire pour la synthèse d'acéclofénac, et plus particulièrement à des dérivés d'haloéthyl-2-[(2,6-dichlorophényl)amino]phénylacétoxy-acétate qui possèdent de puissantes propriétés analgésiques et anti-inflammatoires non-stéroïdiennes et peuvent servir en tant qu'intermédiaire pour la synthèse d'acéclofénac. On prépare ces dérivés en faisant réagir un nouveau composé (4) avec un catalyseur, Zn, et en effectuant une hydrolyse acide qui permet, dans un temps réactionnel court, de produire à haut rendement de l'acéclofénac de grande pureté. Dans la formule (4), R1, R2 et R3 sont identiques ou différents, et représentent respectivement des atomes d'hydrogène ou des atomes halogènes, R1, R2 et R3 ne pouvant tous représenter un atome d'hydrogène en même temps.

  The invention comprises methods for decreasing colonization by a bacterium of a gut of a stink bug, the method comprising providing a composition comprising vanillin or an analog thereof; and delivering said composition to an egg from which the stink bug will hatch, whereby colonization by the bacterium within the gut of the stink bug hatched from the egg treated with the composition is decreased relative to a stink bug hatched from an untreated egg. In some embodiments, the decrease in colonization by the bacterium decreases the fitness of the stink bug, e.g., decreases reproductive ability, survival, rate of development, number of eggs, number of hatched eggs, adult emergence rate, body length, body width, body mass, or cuticle thickness. In some embodiments of the methods herein, the bacterial colonization-disrupting agent is an inhibitor of bacterial metabolism. In some embodiments, the bacterial colonization-disrupting agent is a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) synthesis inhibitor.
