The synthesis of Pd(PPh2H)(2)Cl-2 is achieved by reaction of Pd(PhCN)(2)Cl-2 with PPh2H in toluene at room temperature. Pd(PPh2H)(2)Cl-2 spontaneously transforms into [PdCl(mu-PPh2)(PPh2H)](2) when let in solution and affords Pd(PPh2H)(4) when treated with two equivalents of PPh2H in ethanol.
