in a continuous‐flow system were investigated for decarboxylative esterification. High catalytic activity toward acylation was provided by g‐DMAP containing a flexible grafted‐polymer structure. During decarboxylation, carboxylic acids and alcohols were converted cleanly using di‐tert‐butyl dicarbonate (Boc2O) as a coupling reagent, which reduced by‐products. In addition, the use of Boc2O resulted in

[reaction: see text] The reaction of a carboxylic acid with di-tert-butyl dicarbonate and sodium azide allowed the formation of an acyl azide intermediate, which undergoes a Curtiusrearrangement in the presence of tetrabutylammonium bromide and zinc(II) triflate. The trapping of the isocyanate derivative in the reaction mixture led to the desired tert-butyl carbamate in high yields at low temperature

The first enantioselectivepalladium-catalyzed decarboxylative allylic alkylation of fully substituted N-acyl indole-derived enol carbonates forming acyclic all-carbon quaternary stereocenters is reported. Excellent yields up to 99% and enantioselectivities up to 98% ee are obtained through the use of a new electron-deficient phosphinoxazoline (PHOX) ligand. Control of substrate enolate geometry is

The present technology is directed to prodrugs and compositions for the treatment of various diseases and/or disorders comprising methylphenidate, or methylphenidate derivatives, conjugated to at least one alcohol, amine, oxoacid, thiol, or derivatives thereof. In some embodiments, the conjugates further include at least one linker. The present technology also relates to the synthesis of methylphenidate, or methylphenidate derivatives, conjugated to at least one alcohol, amine, oxoacid, thiol, or derivatives thereof or combinations thereof.
