Reported herein is the significant fluorescenceenhancement of conjugated polymer nanoparticles in the presence of aromatic organochlorine pesticides. This pesticide-mediated fluorescenceenhancement leads to reversible pesticide detection systems with high sensitivity (as low as 5 μM), as well as significant generality and straightforward reversibility.
