Abstract : p-Nitrophenyl acetate, p-nitrophenyl hexanoate, and p-nitrophenyl diphenyl phosphate (PNPDPP) were cleaved by o-iodosobenzoate, o-iodoxybenzoate, and 5-(n-octyloxy)-2-iodosobenzoate in aqueous micellar cetylitrimethylammonium chloride solutions at pH 8.
