Disclosed is a use of cinnamamide derivatives in the control of fungal diseases of crops, the cinnamamide derivative is 3-(3',4'-methylenedioxyphenyl)-N-n-propyl acrylamide, the chemical structural formula of which is as below:

The cinnamamide derivatives have a broad antifungal spectrum against pathogenic fungi of crops, are safe for crops, and can be used for the control of fungal diseases of crops such as powdery mildew, damping-off, blight, early blight, rot, downy blight, fusarium wilt, gummy stem blight, pythium rot, anthracnose, dry rot, white rot, full rot, ring spot, sheath blight, gray mold, northern leaf blight, F. verticillioide, stalk break, rice blast, late blight and the like, the field efficiencies of which are significantly superior to that of acrylamide fungicide, dimethomorph.
