Abstract The microwave spectrum of 3,6-dihydro-1,2-dioxin, a cyclic peroxide derived from buta-1,3-diene, was measured in the frequency range 10–26 GHz. Rotational and centrifugal distortion constants were determined from a least-squares fit to the observed b -type rotational transition frequencies.
