Electron-nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) studies of neutral odd-alternate aromatic hydrocarbon free radicals formed by thermal dissociation

Electron–nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) spectra are presented for the odd‐alternate aromatic hydrocarbon neutral radicals phenalenyl, [2H5]phenylphenalenyl and for the benzo[c,d]pyrenyl and benz[d,e]anthracenyl radicals formed by thermal dissociative processes in solution. Proton hyperfine coupling constants were determined from the ENDOR spectra and were shown to give an excellent linear correlation
