  用十二烷醇或甲醇通过BF3促进D-呋喃呋喃并呋喃-6,3-内酯的糖基化反应，得到正烷基β-D-D-甘露糖呋喃并呋喃-6,3-内酯。用硼氢化钠还原正十二烷基β-D-甘露呋喃糖基呋喃糖苷-6，3-内酯产生相应的烷基β-D-甘露糖呋喃糖苷。

  Novel mesogenic O-n-alkyl β-D-mannofuranosides are prepared stereoselectively and in good yields by glycosylation of 2,3; 5,6-di-O-ethylboranediyl-α-D-mannofuranosyl bromide and deborylation of the protected glycosides.
