    The present invention relates to a process for preparing a catalyst material, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a support material having surface hydroxyl (OH) groups, wherein the support material is ceria (CeO2), zirconia (ZrO2) or a combination of thereof; (b) reacting the support material having surface hydroxyl (OH) groups of step (a) with a precursor containing two transition metal atoms, each chosen independently from the group consisting of: W, Mo, Cr, Ta, Nb, V, Mn; (c) calcining the product obtained in step (b) in order to provide a catalyst material showing dual site surface species containing pairs of transition metal atoms derived from the precursor that are present in oxide form on the support material. The present invention further relates to a catalyst material as may be obtained by the process set out above, and the use of the catalyst material as an ammonia selective catalytic reduction (NH3-SCR) catalyst for nitrogen oxides (NOx) reduction.

    Novel compounds of the structure wherein R1 and R2 are each an alkoxy group which may be the same or different and have from one to ten carbon atoms, and R3-R6 are each individually, hydrogen, a hydrocarbyl group, a hydrocarboxyl group, a nitro group, a silyl group or a halogen, with the provisos that (1) if either R1 and R2 are methoxy, then at least one of R3-R6 is not hydrogen, (2) if R1 and R2 are both ethoxy, then at least one of R3-R6 is not hydrogen, and (3) R1 and R2 cannot both be methoxy. These electron donor compounds are used in the manufacture of olefin polymerization catalysts.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a liquid composition comprising a phosphorescent material and an organic solvent, the method comprising the steps of: dissolving a phosphorescent material in an organic solvent to prepare a mixed liquid, and filtering the mixed liquid obtained in the above step by a filtering device; wherein the filtering device comprises a housing or holder, a fluororesin membrane filter, and a filter support member; a material of a portion of the housing and holder, the portion being in contact with the mixed liquid, is a metal alone or a mixture of a metal and at least one member selected from the group consisting of glass, fluororesins, polyethylene not containing a phosphorus antioxidant, and polyethylene not containing an oxidized phosphorus antioxidant; and a material of a portion of the filter support member, the portion being in contact with the mixed liquid, is at least one member selected from the group consisting of metals, glass, fluororesins, polyethylene not containing a phosphorus antioxidant, and polyethylene not containing an oxidized phosphorus antioxidant.

    A method for producing a liquid composition formed of a phosphorescent material and an organic solvent includes the steps of: dissolving a phosphorescent material in an organic solvent to prepare a mixed liquid, and filtering the mixed liquid by a filtering device. The filtering device is a housing or holder, a fluororesin membrane filter, and a filter support member.
