Glucosinolates are dietary natural products with important cancer chemoprevention properties. The syntheses of a number of stable isotopicallylabelled ( 2 H, 13 C) glucosinolates, and their desulfo-analogues, are described. These compounds are used as internal standards for analysis and for metabolic studies.
