  Abstract We have isolated from Cephalanthus spathelliferus (Rubiaceae) five compounds: umbelliferone, skimmin, 7,4′-dimethylkaempferol,7,4′-dimethylaromadendrin and its 5-glucoside. The latter two are new compounds.
