  Some chemical transformations of homodrin and its epoxide are reported. In particular the products resulting from acid catalysed addition of acetic acid to homodrin have been characterised and the structures established by X-ray crystallography. Some unusual features of the 1H nmr spectra of these compounds are discussed.
