Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Properties of a Novel Cu(II) Complex with α‐Furan Carboxylate, [Cu(fura)<sub>2</sub>(bpy)(H<sub>2</sub>O)], (fura=α‐Furan Carboxylate, bpy=2,2′‐bispyridine)
novel Cu (II) complex with α‐furan carboxylate and 2,2′‐bispyridine, [Cu(fura)2(bpy)(H2O)], is synthesized. Its crystal structure is determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis, and it belongs to the monoclinic system and space group P2(1)/c with CuO3N2 architecture.
