  Deoxyradiofluorination of β‐hydroxy‐α‐aminoesters was successfully achieved at room temperature using [18F]fluoride anion. The reaction involved an aziridinium intermediate and yielded the corresponding [18F]fluorinated α or β‐aminoesters in good radiochemical yields. Regioselectivity was dependent on the nature of substituents R1–R4.
