Amino and diamino acid derivatives having the formula:
where: R can be NH2- or A-O-C,
A being hydrogen, an alkaline metal, an amino or ammonic radical or an aliphatic radical;
n is a whole number between 2 and 5;
X is hydrogen or a lower alkyl radical with 1-4 carbon atoms;
R1 is hydrogen, an alkaline metal, an amino or ammonic, radical or an aliphatic radical;
can be prepared by condensing diamines or omega-amino acids, or their lactams or aliphatic esters, with alpha-halogenated lower aliphatic acids or with their aliphatic esters, with possible subsequent salification with alkaline hydrates or with amino or ammonic compounds or with esterification with aliphatic alcohols.
Such compounds are used as plant growth stimulants or as pharmaceutical products.
