simple and robust methodology towards a direct condensation of carboxylic acids and amines has been realized in a versatile electrochemical approach, using a combination of triphenylphosphine and iodide as coupling reagent. A broad scope of different amides and dipeptides were accessible by the presented method, without the need for pre-functionalization of the starting materials.
