ithine amide were resolved to ω-acyl-L-amino acids and ω-acyl-D-amino acid amides by the partially purified leucine aminopeptidase preparation. ω-Acyl-L-amino acids and ω-acyl-D-amino acid amides were hydrolyzed to L- and D-amino acid hydrochlorides, respectively. The parts of ω-benzoyl-D-amino acid amides were changed to ω-benzoyl-D-amino acids by acid hydrolysis.
