  An efficient synthesis of chiral N-tert-butanesulfinyl trifluoromethyl ketimines by using zirconium(IV) tert-butoxide is described. Compared to conventional titanium(IV) ethoxide, this protocol gave better result especially for sterically hindered ketones.
