  Compounds of N-[4-(p-alkylphenyl)-2-thiazolyl]-5-nitro-2-furamide (I), N-(5-alkyl-1, 3, 4-thiadiazolyl)-5-nitro-2-furamide (II), and N-(6-alkoxy-3-pyridazinyl)-5-nitro-2-furamide (III) were synthesized to observe their antibacterial and antifungal activity. On the bacteria, ethyl derivative among the compounds of (I) series and, methyl and ethyl derivatives of (III) series were observed to have effects nearly equal to that of nitrofuran. Antifungal activity of the compounds of three series were more or less effective on both Trichophyton asteroides and Aspergillus fumigatus, but uneffective on the other fungi.

  N-[4-(对烷基苯基)-2-噻唑基]-5-硝基-2-呋喃酰胺(I)、N-(5-烷基-1,3,4-噻二唑基)-5-硝基-2的化合物合成了N-(6-烷氧基-3-哒嗪基)-5-硝基-2-呋喃酰胺(II)和N-(6-烷氧基-3-哒嗪基)-5-硝基-2-呋喃酰胺(III)并观察其抗菌和抗真菌活性。对细菌，观察到(I)系列化合物中的乙基衍生物和(III)系列化合物中的甲基和乙基衍生物具有与硝基呋喃几乎相同的效果。三个系列化合物的抗真菌活性对小行星毛癣菌和烟曲霉均具有一定的作用，而对其他真菌均无效。
