  By deprotonation with methyllithium and reaction with water, deuterium oxide or alkyl halide, the γ-monosubstituted allenic sulphinamides have been converted into the substituted propargylic sulphinamides which were hydrolysed or deuterolysed with loss of sulphur dioxide to provide the corresponding allenes .
