  Reactions of α-nitrocinnamic acids esters with indole and its derivatives lead to the formation of the products of alkylation at the C3-reaction center of the heterocycle. The hydrogenation of the adduct of 1-methylindole and α-nitro-β-phenylacrylate on the Raney nickel catalyst afforded indolylaminopropanoate, that was used for the synthesis of ethyl 2-acetylamino-3-(1-methylindol-3-yl)-3-phenylpropanoate

  α-硝基肉桂酸酯与吲哚及其衍生物的反应导致在杂环的C 3-反应中心形成烷基化产物。在阮内镍催化剂上1-甲基吲哚和α-硝基-β-苯基丙烯酸酯的加合物的氢化得到吲哚基氨基丙酸酯，其用于合成乙基2-乙酰氨基-3-（1-甲基吲哚-3-基）-3 -苯基丙酸酯，在吲哚环上被苯基取代的色氨酸甲基化的前体。
