The present invention relates to the discovery of biodegradable multi-armed oligomers wherein the end groups of these oligomers have been functionalized with biologically active molecules. The resultant multi-armed oligomers end-functionalized with biologically active molecules have a controllable degradation profile. The hydrolytic degradation of oligomers of the present invention releases the biologically active compound as such with no change in native chemical structure.

The present invention provides a powder coating comprising associated particles having an average particle diameter of 3-70 µm, said associated particles containing fine polymer particles having an average particle diameter of 0.01-2 µm.
The powder coating of the present invention comprises powder coating particles which have a relatively narrow particle size distribution, which have a relatively small average particle diameter, and which are controlled in shape. Moreover, the powder coating can be produced at a high yield, is greatly superior in fluidity and electrifiability as compared with conventional powder coatings; gives a coating film having excellent luster and sufficient smoothness; and can be applied in a thin film.
