Blue moon: Three new light‐emitting materials, comprising highly fluorescent pyrenes with hole‐transporting carbazole units, have high thermal stabilities and optoelectronic properties that are suitable for application in electroluminescent devices. A device fabricated from 1 as an emissive material exhibits the most‐promising I‐V‐L characteristics as a blue organic light‐emitting diode.
