  AbstractA new alkaloid, conoflorine, isolated from Conopharyngia longiflora Stapf., has been assigned the stereostructure 1 by physical and chemical methods, including degradation to (+)‐quebrachamine (7). The mass spectra of conoflorine and its derivatives are discussed briefly.
