New complexes of bivalent Co, Ni, and Cu with isatin aminoguanisone (HL) and nitroaminoguanisone (HL1) of the composition ([Co(HL)(2)]Cl-2 (I), [Ni(HL)(2)]Cl-2 (II). [Cu(L)Cl] (III), [Co(L-1)(2)] (IV), [Ni(L-1)(2)] (V), and [Cu(L-1)(2)] (VI) are synthesized. Their molecular conductivities and effective magnetic moments are measured and thermal stabilities are studied. The type of the ligand coordination in I-VI is pro posed on the basis of IR data. The summary of physicochemical data for I-VI and the energy calculations for their molecules by the molecular mechanics method made it possible to establish stoichiometry of the coordination polyhedra of the complexes.
