Compounds of formula (I) as selective inhibitors of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) for use in treating e.g. peripheral neuropathy, graft rejection, GVHD, myositis, diseases associated with abnormal lymphocyte function, multiple myeloma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory diseases, cancer and neurodegenerative pathologies.
