Neodictyoprolene isolated as a trace component of a brown alga Dictyopteris prolifera was shown to be the acetate of cis, cis-1,5,8-undecatrien-3-ol postulated to be a pivotal biosynthetic intermediate leading to biologically active C11-substances such as sex attractants of brown algae (e.g., ectocarpene).
作为棕色海藻Dictyopteris prolifera的微量成分分离出的Neodictyoprolene被证明是顺式、顺式-1,5,8-十一碳三烯-3-醇的乙酸盐,被认为是生物合成的重要中间体,可生成生物活性C11物质,如棕色海藻的性吸引剂(如外果皮烯)。
