  通过合成三种经二苯并呋喃，二苯并噻吩和9-苯基咔唑改性的吡啶并吲哚衍生物，研究了用于蓝色磷光有机发光二极管（PHOLED）的吡啶并吲哚类主体材料的结构与性质之间的关系。9-苯基咔唑部分比二苯并呋喃或二苯并噻吩更好地控制了吡啶并吲哚衍生的主体材料的能级和电荷传输性质。具有9-苯基咔唑部分的PCb-PCz主体在发光层中显示出平衡的电荷密度，并且在蓝色PHOLED中显示出29.7％的高外部量子效率。
