    A series of diazotised aniline and aniline derivative compounds were reacted with solution of malononitrile in pyridine at 0–5 °C were obtained 1a-1m compounds. Then 4-arylazo-3,5-diamino-1H-pyrazole (2a-2m) derivatives were synthesized by coupling arylazo malononitrile compounds with hydrazine.     salicylic aldehydes and acetylacetic ester leading to the formation of novel 2,3-dihydrochromeno[4,3-d]pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-1,6-diones was discovered. The elucidation of the reaction scope revealed that 5-aminopyrazoles, 3-amino-1,2,4-triazoles and 6-aminouracil could be used as the heterocyclic amine component. Selected heterocyclic products were found to possess notable antibacterial activities.

    The present invention provides a colorant-containing curable composition comprising a colorant, wherein the colorant contains a compound represented by the following Formula (I). In Formula (I), R 1 and R 2 each independently represent H, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group. R 1 and R 2 may be formed into a heterocycle together with a jointly bonded nitrogen atom. R 3 represents a halogen atom, a trihalomethyl group, an alkoxy group, a nitro group, or an amino group. n represents an integer of 0 to 4. R 4 represents a halogen atom or a —SO 3 M group, in which M represents H, a cation of a metallic atom, or a cation consisting of a nitrogen-containing compound. m represents an integer of 0 to 5. The present invention further provides a color filter comprising the compound represented by Formula (I) and a method for manufacturing the color filter.

    The present invention provides an azo compound represented by the following Formula (I). In Formula (I), R1 and R2 respectively independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 21 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 21 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 21 carbon atoms or an aralkyl group having 7 to 21 carbon atoms, were R1 and R2 may form a hetero ring in combination with a nitrogen atom combined therewith.
