  已经发现了一种专门针对吗啡喃骨架的新型分子氧介导的Baeyer-Villiger型氧化。酮轴承双环[2.2.2] octenone骨架用KOH（颗粒）在回流的反应吨氧气气氛（气球），得到意想不到的环丙烷羧酸和ketolactone衍生物下BuOH中。这些产品中的反应位点（羧酸和酯）位于吗啡喃骨架的C环上方，因此这种吗啡喃化合物将是设计理想的κ阿片受体激动剂的有用中间体。
