  The (Z)- and (E)-isomers of dimethylaluminium 4,4-dimethylpent-2-en-2-olate, Me2AlOC(Me)=CH-t-Bu, have been obtained. The (Z)-isomer is dimeric; the (E)-isomer can be isolated either as a dimer or as a trimer.
