  A stereoisomeric mixture of (±)-PM-toxin B [6,14,22,30,32-pentahydroxy-8,16,24-trioxo-tritriacontane] has been synthesized via three steps of Grignard addition and shows virtually the same biological activities as the natural PM-toxin B.
