    Single crystals of (CN3H6)(2)[(UO2)(2)(C2O4)(SeO3)(2)] were synthesized and studied by IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic system with the unit cell parameters a = 7.1169( 12) angstrom, b = 7.4874( 10) angstrom, c = 8.9748( 14) angstrom, alpha = 88.243(6)degrees, beta = 74.546(6)degrees, gamma = 81.445(6), space group P (1) over bar, R = 0.0304. The main structural units of the crystals are layers of the [(UO2)(2)(C2O4)(SeO3)(2)](2-) composition; the layers belong to the crystal chemical group A(2)K(02)T(2)(3) (A = U K-02 = C2T3 = Se) of uranyl complexes. Uranium-containing complex groups are linked by electro static interactions and a network of hydrogen bonds with CN3H6+ guanidinium ions to form a three-dimensional framework.

    The title compound, diammonium aqua-mu-carbonato-tri-mu-oxalato-dineodymium(III) hydrate, (NH4)(2) [Nd-2 (CO3)(C2O4)(3) (H2O)].H2O, involving the two ligands oxalate and carbonate, has been prepared hydrothermally as single crystals. The Nd atoms form a tetranuclear unit across the inversion centre at (1/2, 1/2, 1/2). Starting from this tetranuclear unit, the oxalate ligands serve to develop a three-dimensional network. The carbonate group acts as a bis-chelating ligand to two Nd atoms, and is monodentate to a third Nd atom. The oxalate groups are all bis-chelating. The two independent Nd atoms are ninefold coordinated and the coordination polyhedron of these atoms is a distorted monocapped antiprism.

    New complexes of uranyl with diethylglyoxime have been synthesized and studied. A feature of these complexes is the tetradentate bridging coordination of the ligand in both cis- and trans-conformations. The structure of organic ligand C6H12N2O2 and binuclear complex (CN3H6)(4)[(UO2)(2)(C6H10N2O2)(CO3)(C2O4)(2)] a (TM) H2O have been determined by X-ray diffraction.
