We have developed an efficient method to achieve N-gem-difluorocyclopropylation of N-heterocycles with the use of gem-difluorocyclopropyl tosylate as a building block under mild conditions. gem-Difluorocyclopropyl tosylates could be easily prepared on a large scale and exhibit great stability.
