$TiO_2$ nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized by SEM and XRD techniques. The $TiO_2$ nanoparticles were employed as a recyclable, inexpensive and efficient catalyst for the synthesis of substituted quinoxalines in high to excellent yields and in relatively short duration.

A series of novel V-shaped quinoxaline derivatives (QDs) was designed, synthesized and characterized and their photophysical and thermal properties were investigated. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies of QD1, QD3 and QD6 indicated twisted structure and all were found to be AIEE active except one. polarity from toluene to DMSO. Further, the aggregation studies confirmed the presence of aggregation induced emission enhancement (AIEE) characteristics. Quadrupolar derivatives 2a and 2f displayed nearly five-fold emission enhancement while tripodal derivatives 2b-2e displayed much lesser emission enhancement on aggregation in THF-water mixture. The photophysical studies were also explored in the
interactions. A visual colorchange from colorless to yellow accompanied by fluorescence quenching was observed in the molecules upon treatment of DCM solution with TFA and the changes were reversed upon addition of TEA.
