Solid binary systems of molybdenum (VI) oxide with oxides of each of the following: titanium (II, III, IV), vanadium (II, III, IV, V), chromium (III), manganese (II, III, IV), cobalt (II), nickel (II), copper (I, II), niobium (IV, V), and hafnium (IV) have been investigated by X-ray powder diffraction. The following hitherto unreported compounds were identified: VMoO5; V2MoO8; Cr2Mo3O12; Cu6Mo4O15
