The synthesis, relaxivity measurements and in vivo assessment of CB-GdDOTA-MA amphiphilic conjugate as blood pool contrast agent (BPCA) is reported. This BPCA showed high relaxivity (r1 = 6.8 mM−1 s−1 at 7 T in PBS) and exhibited excellent binding (87.4%) with HSA.
