    γ-Lactone Formation in the Addition of Benzenesulfonyl Bromide to Diene and Enyne Esters
    摘要:
    The gem-dialkyl effect has been used to promote the formation of functionalized gamma-lactones in the addition of benzenesulfonyl bromide to diene and enyne esters. Introduction of 3 mol % of pyridine into the reactions increases the yields of lactones produced from tertiary esters. Formation of the C-alpha-C-beta bond of gamma-lactones has been achieved in both C-alpha-->C beta and C-beta-->C-alpha radical cyclization directions.

    A method for producing α-substituted acrylate esters is provided which can be suitably used as an industrial method for producing α-substituted acrylate esters because the method does not have problems of apparatus corrosion or does not require waste detoxification and allows reaction in a short time with high yield. The method for producing an α-substituted acrylate ester includes a step of carrying out a reaction of a compound having a specific structure and an active hydrogen-containing compound under a condition where a tertiary amine and an acid and/or a salt thereof coexist.

Transition metals are not required for these transformations that are conducted under mild conditions.     An acrylic rubber obtainable by copolymerizing a monomer mixture of: (A) 70 to 99.99% by weight of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of alkyl acrylates and alkoxyalkyl acrylates, (B) 0.01 to 10% by weight of at least one compound represented by the general formula: wherein R' is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; X is a hydrogen atom, -COOR6 (R6 is an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms or an alkoxyalkyl group having 2-14 carbon atoms), or R2, R3 and R4 are independently hydrogen atoms or groups having 1-10 carbon atoms whose carbon atom adjacent to C=C has no hydrogen; R5 is a group having 1-10 carbon atoms whose carbon atom adjacent to C = C has no hydrogen; Y is or and n is 1 or 0, and (C) 0-20% by weight of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of other unsaturated compounds of the vinyl type, vinylidene type and vinylene type, in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator. Said acrylic rubber, when crosslinked with a crosslinking agent, gives a cured article having good heat resistance and a good compression set property and accordingly suitable for use as a hose or a sealing material.
